Summary: This book shows different scenarios that a child may find themselves in when they have conflict with others. Everyone has good and bad days, but it is how we handle ourselves when we are having a rough time. This book shows the perspectives of both sides of the situations to allow students the opportunity to see how the other student may be experiencing the situation.

Reflection: This book would come in handy as I work with students who have a difficult time dealing with their own emotions, who have a difficult time seeing another person's perspective and understanding how to resolve conflict with their friends. I like how this book offers a glossary in the back to define words that were written in bold in the text.… (meer)

Dealing with Arguments by Lisa K. Adams, is a nonfiction book for children. This book is broken down into ten chapters. The book gives pronunciation guides to help with new/big words. The book uses simple language and covers topics from “What is an argument” to “Avoiding an argument.”
This was a nice book. Although this book seems to be written for children Pre-K through about 3rd grade, the children in the book look to be in mid-late elementary school.
With this book I would give students some scenarios that I either hear them argue about or that I could see them argue about and have them talk through the problem… (meer)
