The first chapter of this book suggests that a woman trying to get a hold of a man to sign a contract for company business somehow invited herself to being nearly raped. Was she supposed to bring a bodyguard with her?

I'm willing to believe the translation is at fault for that given some of the other lines. That said I think it would only take it from the realm of the detestable to just below-average.
