This is a thorough and well-illustrated book, reminiscent of my personal favorite garden guide, Rodale's Illustrated Encyclopedia of Organic Gardening. Sound, simple advice is arranged seasonally (seed starting is listed under “early spring” and root vegetable storage under “late fall”, etc.). If you don't already have a comprehensive vegetable gardening guide this would be an excellent choice for beginner and enthusiast alike.
