This is a concept book rather than a story, and it shows all of the objects children can expect to see when they start preschool. Each is labeled and pictured in pencil and watercolor. There is just the right amount of information here, and the objects are presented in a grid around a larger picture in the center, so the overall feeling is organized. Topics include "On the playground", "In the classroom", and "Time to eat".
