I'm very glad I read this book. I found it by accident while looking for something else at the public library. I had already read Bunyan's original "The Pilgrim's Progress," a definate classic, and I found this book true to the spirit and path of Bunyan. Christian's path was the same, with the same distractions and the same pitfalls. Their appearances and names were updated to what one encounters today. One thing I found particularly profound was the politcal process (I think it was in Vanity Fair.) The "Mommy" and the "Daddy" parties changed the way I view politcs now. It's a great book for anyone to read, especially for Christians today.… (meer)
