And it's a grudging 1 star. There's virtually no text—less than you'd get at a museum exhibition. Artist, date, client, that's about it. What makes it good or special or worthy of inclusion? No idea. You could go to a book store and browse book covers and see more (and flip them open, and put the cover in context). It's the covers of catalogs as well, so there's that. But without knowing the content of the book (or catalog), it's intended audience, or its reason for existence, well ... they say it's hard to judge a book by its cover, but it's impossible to judge a cover by its book when you don't have its book!

So ultimately as exciting to read as a catalog itself (i.e. not very). Just a series of pictures of covers, and no more.

(Note: 5 stars = amazing, wonderful, 4 = very good book, 3 = decent read, 2 = disappointing, 1 = awful, just awful. I'm fairly good at picking for myself so end up with a lot of 4s). I feel a lot of readers automatically render any book they enjoy 5, but I grade on a curve!… (meer)
