Settlers are slowly taking over, they have infiltrated our society and the end of the world is brewing. Christian, a typical rebel teen finds himself in the middle of a tattoo shop that he's never seen before. Where he finds out that the tattoo chooses it's canvas. Its not an ordinary tattoo, its the essence of a god who grants him super powers and the ability to save the world. Christian struggles with his god and learning how to control his powers but he's not the only one chosen. There are others, Raven and him set out to find his 'tribe'. A name Chris's best friend Ben gave to the group of chosen god hosts.
There are alot of different ethnicities in this book which I absolutely loved, a good vital of politics as well. Minor love story aspect, mostly teenage angst, no sexual situations but a good bit of violence.
