This book is a memoir about a journalist and her partner who receive offers of work in Shanghai and their experiences there with two young preschoolers. I've basically come away with the lesson that East and West are very different and reactions to issues such as government control (she was there during the milk and baby formula scandal) are not something that we can really understand--unless this was just among the people she spoke to?
Somewhat interesting, bu not a particularly great read.
