SUMMARY: A girl's secret worry makes her sad until a worry doctor helps her understand herself.

REVIEW: This is a story about a little girl with depression. It contains language and illustrations that are simple enough for children to understand. It does a great job of approaching the topic of mental illness in a way that does not make it seem like something that is "wrong." The use of the phrase "secret worry" is a way to connect this topic to all children; every child goes through these same worries as they grow up, and some children just worry about things to a greater extent than others. I believe that all children will benefit from reading this book.
