This was pretty good! I love a "bad" man who is really "good" deep inside. He truly loved Cecelia and showed her often. I was thrilled he avenged his friend's senseless death. It could only have been better if Kate had been sold to human traffickers for being such a queen bitch. I sure hope Lucian is the one to see she gets her just dues.

I really enjoyed Lucian and Jordan's story. I was so excited to see a certain somebody get what was coming! Up next....Gio's story.

I enjoyed the beginning and ending but the middle not so much. I just didn't like the whole Frankie story line. I felt Kim spent too much time with Frankie and not enough with Gio....who was the love of her life. I would have enjoyed it more if she had gotten away from Frankie sooner! I more or less skimmed through most of the middle. The ending was great and justice was handed out to those deserving.

I would have loved this more if this had an HEA and not a cliffy! I have read the reviews for the next book and have decided to pass. I really think one book per character would have been so much better. This one moved slowly because it really could have been 1 book but less profit that way. It kept my interest and was mostly well written. There were a few editing issues here and there but easy to figure it out.
