This novel really helped me better to understand the great characters from Greek Mythology with how the author wound them into the storyline. Kassandra's future was decided the day she was born in the fourth century BC, but her mother doesn't want her to go down that path and knows Kassandra is destined for a greater life. A greater life than she could ever give her. Sending her on a journey and to lands only dreamed of, Kassandra is already being tested by the gods and this is only the beginning of proving herself and her worth to herself and those who believe in her, and her path. There was so much to this storyline and I loved it all. There was history, romance, battles, family and a woman changing the perceptions of who and what they should be. An amazing story of courage, strength, and fighting back, Kassandra will waltz her way into your heart, and keep you captivated for hours. Blasdell does an amazing job of bringing Ancient Greece to life, with imagery that makes the story unfold before you like a movie. Kassandra has such a transformation over the course of the book, and I loved her fighting spirit. She's not perfect, but that only makes me love her as a character even more. The plot moves along smoothly, and at a good pace, with rarely a dull moment. I won't give any spoilers, but if you're a fan of Ancient Greece, myths, or historical romance, you're going to fall in love with this book!… (meer)

The third and final in the Touch the Sky historical time travel series. This novel really has a lot that happens and brings all three together. Derek and Jennifer have made a life together with children and now Jennifer's visions touch a bit closer to home now that there are others to worry about when this happens to her. Scared of what could happen to one of the children when she does have a blackout, Jennifer makes sure to really pay attention to the signs she has become accustomed to. Once again, she is taken back in time to another woman's life time. Again, she knows she has to connect what this means from the prior two women and what she needs to figure out. This one hits a little more close to what is happening currently in the real world and as Jennifer works to figure out her meaning with this one, she knows that Derek and others will also not quite understand what she must do. Having become a little different than her normal self, Jennifer become kind of distant and makes odd comments to those around her. Worried about Jennifer's mental well being those around her do everything they can to talk her out of going forward with what she says she needs to do and sacrifice to make it all worthwhile. The second book in the Touch the Sky historical time travel series. Jennifer has made quite a few changes in her life. All for the better and she has not had a blackout or time travel incident for a few months. New friends and relationship, Jennifer has been brought to meet his family and while touring the estate it happens. She knows this room, the women she sees in the room and the history of her. Unsure as to how she could know that, Derek quickly covers for her with his family and Jennifer is now back to wondering what Lady Gwenivere's life has to do with her. Why is she now living her life through blackouts and what is the connection one again? Having had some practice from when she lived through Cela, Jennifer has learned to know the signs before one happens and Derek has gotten better in trusting Jennifer's visions in order to better his archaeological career. The two of them have become close and now this women in directly tied to Derek's family and she knows she must figure out what this all means. I loved this second book and the history of Lady Gwenivere. You could probably read this as a standalone but you would be missing a lot of ground work from the first novel.
