I believe this is a good piece of FICTION. Not for one second do I believe the author's claim that everything in this book is absolutely true. However, my reasons are probably different than others, because I do believe these types of events can and do take place (paranormal), that's not the unbelievable part. The mere fact that the author is writing in a quasi-omniscient viewpoint across three generations is what did it for me. A good book to pick up for a spooky ghost tale, but just ignore the author's notes (as much as it PAINS me to say that).… (meer)
