“Dress Like a Woman: Working Women and What They Wore” is a pleasant little coffee table book that features full-page, full color shots of women throughout history doing what they do best – gettin’ shit done. The book isn’t really organized in a clear way or tells a cohesive story but the photos are interesting enough. Aside from the foreward by Roxanne Gay, this didn’t really leave a big impression on me.

Whether you were there, or you are looking back wondering what kept you from going, these two publications are reminders of the reasons why so many gathered to protest and voice concerns regarding issues such as immigration, civil rights, racial justice and many other, not just concerns of the 2016 Presidential race, but concerns for humanity.

A fabulous collection of photos from the January 2017 Woman's March. Almost as magnificent as the march itself.... almost.

Would be a good stocking stuffer for an early teen who likes Seventeen. I didn’t learn anything from in (other than that diamonds can be cut in a shape called ‘trillient’) but it would be great for a young girl.… (meer)
