- Short biography
Eli Borden, Ph.D., was honored by the Governor's Commission on Higher Education by inclusion into the New Mexico Eminent Scholar program. He was also named Professor Emeritus by the New Mexico Junior College Board. In addition to coaching 6 collegiate speech teams to national championships, he has also received "Professor of the Year" honors five times and "Teacher of the Year" one time. Along with making presentations over his books, Eli Borden is also a motivational speaker for civic groups and governmental agencies. He comes from a family of preachers, being a 5th generation preacher.
He has served as Pulpit Minister at:

Hearne Church of Christ Hearne, Texas.
He participated in writing and presenting seminars after retiring. He is married to Wilsie Bilbrey Borden.
