Although this book is about children's art, the focus on experience and process versus a set "product version" or "traditional" guidelines is helpful in all leadership contexts. If children move the muffin tin of paints from the center of the table, they learn negotiation and compromise. When they mix the paint colors, there may be a prettier picture than was originally planned.
