Marie-Elsa Roche Bragg is an author, priest, therapist and Duty Chaplain of Westminster Abbey. Her novel, Towards Mellbreak, is about four generations of a quiet hill farming family on the North Western fells of Cumbria. She has contributed articles and interviews for papers such as the Telegraph and the Church Times; Radio pieces for BBC Radio 4 and interviews for literary festivals and Story Vault Films.

I just loved this book although it is heartbreaking, with such tragic consequences for those involved. The writing is so beautiful, so gentle in the telling of the story of a an old and settled way of life.
