Partly travel diary and journal, Brandi writes about south east Asia in a haibun style short passages interspersing haiku throughout the prose. I write haibun and haiku and have travelled in south east Asia and found the writing observant, evocative and poetic.

I loved the haiku which followed the the passage on Climbing Phnom Bakheng. Phnom Bakheng is a hill in Angkor, that vast area of temples in Cambodia.
