Sara Branmore

I enjoyed the characters in this book, in particular Callie and Jane. There are a lot of books, movies and TV dramas about plots to kill the US President, but I think Sara Branmore took a unique angle with how a plot was uncovered using an ordinary woman doing her job and living a normal life, instead of an ex-service man/ CIA operative or similar which is what we usually see in these types of stories. So hats to the author! Being from the UK I have only a basic understanding of the intricacies of US politics, so I couldn't totally connect with that side of book, however, I would say that if you are familiar with the current American political system, then this book could be a worthwhile read.… (meer)
