My email reply to a note from Mr. Briney asking if I had read his book that I had gotten months ago was something like:

"I did get your book through NetGalley but as far as I can see you didn't permit downloading from the site. Since I got the book only via Amazon's delivery service, it did not appear in my Digital Editions queue. It got lost and I didn't remember it at all.

After your email I tracked the book to one of my ereaders and gave it a whirl. You really really need a new editor. The text is full of bad sentences. For example, a nest of ants doesn't move. The ants near the nest can be seen to move, the nest stays still. My reading notes have comments on every page and I stopped reading after the first chapter.

Editors are worth their weight in gold."

I would now add, after looking up the book on Amazon, that the subtitle is silly.
