This compilation of articles provides a well-organized Introduction to the subject of "Interreligious Dialogue and Cooperation". An overview of theologies is presented in Two Parts, diachronic and synchronic views:

I - Christian attitudes toward religious Others. Begins by analysis with citation to the Christian texts and theologians. Matthew 8:5-12, 15:21-28, Good Samaritan parable Luke, John's Gospel 1:1-9, 14:1-9, Acts 4: 1-12, 10:34-35, 4345, Paul in Athens, Acts 17:22ff, Paul on Gentiles and Law, Romans 2:14-15. Turns to Early "Christians", their writings, the synthesis of Aquinas, Nicholas of Cusa, and Bartolome Las Casas, Modern and Postmodern theologians, and finally Church documents relating to religious "Others".

II - Christian Ministry, theology, and spirituality in interfaith dialogue. Addresses the question of how to engage with "neighbors" in a multi-religious world. Presents mission work as dialogue. Explores the love of Buddha, prayer with Muslims (and "others"), the concept of Trinity and Saccidananda in Hindu theology, living out one's faith. Includes Amos Yong's reading "Towards a Pneumatological Theology of Religions". As Yong says, "All Christians have responsibility for grappling with the truth." [215]

This compilation examines the diversity of Christianity, and its developments in theology of religions. Concepts such as "kindom of God" replace "kingdom", and the Holy Spirit is included in feminine terms.
