This is a beautifully written memoir about neuroscientist Stephanie 'Dr. Love' Cacioppo's own experience with romantic love. What makes it unique is that she explains the physiological processes behind falling in love while sharing how it felt as it was happening to her. She also touches on loneliness, grief, and the effect of covid-19 on social interactions. Overall, very eloquent and informative.
