This book is a collection of striking and beautiful portraits and interviews with various trans people. I really cannot recommend this enough for anyone who has any interest in issues about gender, sexuality, or people's desire to change. I suspect anyone into body modification (tattoos, piercing, scarification, etc) woudl also find this a compelling book.

As a general note, some of the portraits have explicit nudity. If this bothers you, um..try reading Kate Bornstein first?
