Bone Rattle is a thrilling book particularly at the end. Our hero, Arliss Cutter, gets in an impossible underground situation that requires his superpowers to survive. The good guys are good and the bad guys are very bad, actually believable. The settings are properly described. However, it seemed like things were not completely settled thereby leaving room for another adventure for Arliss Cutter. There is a bonus surprise at the end with the Prologue. Four stars were given to this book.

And although the initial murder is resolved at the very end, I had no idea who the murderer was until then—talk about a boatload of red herrings. And be prepared to handcuff your disbelief to the radiator to swallow the Fishwives story and Mexican drug thugs wreaking havoc in Alaska for some reason.… (meer)

Another action-packed, suspenseful, and shocking crime thriller. Good guys: Alaska law enforcement; bad guys; Russian mob. Story shows US Marshalls in protection role with a US Supreme Court Justice. They took a train ride on one or the most beautiful scenes ever. Fun read. On to #6.
