Received an Early Reviews copy but then sorta hit a reading slump and it got shuffled out of my TBRs. I am so glad I came back to this book. Overall I really enjoyed this book, which at first for some reason gave me Foot Loose vibes. The story was well crafted and pulled me in making me want to continue reading. Well rounded characters and plot! I however didn't like the shift to the diary style story telling that popped up appropriately 3/4 the way through. For me it felt disjointed and unnecessary. There were a few other things that would throw me off kilter while devouring the story but over all loved the divided smaller town feel, the development of the relationships (not only the love story but the friendships), and sports team dynamics!… (meer)

I loved War of the Sea, so I was really looking forward to reading this book. Not that you have to read book one to jump into this book. Although, it was nice to see Lou and Rylander again. They are even more in love then before. Lou is the one that truly wears the pants in the relationship.

Rylander's sister, Savina is just as feisty as he is. OMG. Savina's and Conleth first meeting of each other is sure a memorable one if not a quirky one. I love that Savina was not afraid of Conleth's title of Duke. She spoke boldly towards him and was not afraid to stand toe to toe with him. She really challenged him.

If you love mythology, engaging characters, a storyline that you can get swept away in, then you need to read this book. Reading this book is like watching a 4D movie, it is a whole experience that you don't want to miss!… (meer)

"The Reclaimed Kingdom" was a very enjoyable listen for me- although not without flaw. The writing in this book was very well done. The plot of this book- specifically the second half of the book- was very interesting. I really enjoyed the magic system and how it was utilized throughout the book. The character's, on the other hand, I did not enjoy as much. I felt that they were a bit one dimentional and I personally do not enjoy love triangles but if you do enjoy love triangles, I think this would be a fantastic choice for you. I think I would consider picking up the second book in this series just to see how eevrything ends.… (meer)
