A flowmotion book

Bring health, comfort, and relaxation to anyone with Shiatsu, the ancient healing art. Shiatsu literally translates into 'finger pressure.' It's a safe and supportive series of techniques that rely on a caring sense of touch. By using hands, elbows, knees, and feet, anyone can easily move, support, and change the energy, or chi, that runs through our bodies and affects how we feel. With these flowing color photographs as a guide you'll be able to quiclky apply these techniques.

Promote relaxation and healing while alleviating tensions with Shiatsu, techniques that enable you to connect with others through touch. Hara Ankle Rotation loosens up the ankle tendons and unwinds the whole body, for example, while Chopping Jitsu breaks up muscle tension and energy held on the top of the back. Help anyone feel vibrant, alive, and able to face whatever challenges life may bring.

Flowmotion is a breakthrough technique, the newest, greatest way of teaching a sport, finess routine, dance, or any kind of physical activity! Unless you've got a private teacher standing right with you, it just doesn't get any better than these revolutionary guides. Picture this: strobe-like, wide-format photographs-created by a cutting-edge digital technology-that capture the fluidity of the entire movement sequences with the key stages highlighted. It's as if you were watching a video. Underneath the pictures, captions provide even more directions. There's nothing else like it anywhere!

Use this wonderful hands-on therapy to heal and relieve the stresses of modern life.

Daisy Cole first became interested in shiatsu in the early 1990s when she experienced for herself its remarkable healing benefits. Since then, she has gone on to study the discipline under a wide range of teachers, principally at the Ki Ka Shiatsu Center in London, where she completed a three-year professonal practitioner's course. She has been a full-time practitioner ever since, conributing to workshops and working with individuals and community projects.
