This book was not as good as I hoped it would be. I hoped for a book that gave the basic outline of how to do storyboards and how to do them for film. The book was more for artist than anybody else. The book focuses on people that know how to draw instead of those that don’t. The title says that it is for director and producers amongst the list of who the book was for, but not all directors and producers can draw. Actually most cannot. Instead this book gave people with artistic skill a way to make a living and how to adapt their drawing skills to a field in storyboarding. Also the book gave examples on commercials and comics as much as it did on films. I felt the title was misleading and not a good book for a class unless that class was a drawing class and even so the book doesn’t really talk about drawing techniques but more how to draw in a defined area such as a movie frame.… (meer)
