Yes, i read it from cover to cover. This was the textbook used in my Plant Physiology class way back when. Since I have been working with plants a lot lately I decided it wouldn't hurt to read it all. Sure, it is dated (in fact I remembering the professor saying at the time that some of the information in the book was wrong even back then). But, overall it did the job of providing a good overview of all the major aspects of plant physiology.
