What happened to Calder? What was he trying to warn her about? Cecily is now driven to get answers, even it that means facing Marcel again. But what she has to face up to is a lot more than she bargains for.

Diablo is a talented author! I loved this tightly-woven, urban fantasy novella and originally read it when it was part of the Anthology "A Darker Shade of Evil" of which I received as an ARC to review. The feisty Cecily will no longer be pacified and with what she has already been through (the loss of her parents) and then the horrifying, unpredictable death of her brother. It's a wonder she's not a complete mess. And it's just this, her emotional turmoil, which made it even better for me, as I could watcher her character grow and overcome so many difficulties. Sharing Cecily's journey through all the lows, highs and the edge of your seat unexpected twists was particularly fun! To top it all the romance between Cecily and Marcel is both satisfying and full of that kind of chemistry one can only dream of (or read in books)!

Happy to recommend to all you 'Supernatural' demon hunter fans out there! It's a romance book that kick's ass! This is my honest opinion, and I bought and read it again once it was published I enjoyed it so much.… (meer)

I quickly fell in loe with the characters and the supernatural world they live in. Witches, lycans, werewoves, fae, good and evil, battle as a war brews and the threat of Razal rising looms on the horizon. What more could I possibly ask for? Well, I was sad to see it end and that’s what I am asking for…MORE, because it ended all too soon. 4 Stars
