This book is about a grandma who loves to cook. She originally thinks its the cookbook, but when the cookbook "doesn't work" she realizes she is a good cook. Throughout the book they introduce several spanish words. On each page by the items there is the spanish word. At the end of the book there is a glossary of all of the Spanish/English words. This book is a good example of realistic fiction because there really could be a family that cooks together. The grandma in this story is a dynamic character because we see her change her image of herself. She realizes that she can actually cook and that she doesn't need to rely on a cookbook anymore.… (meer)
