A story of 9/11 and it's impact told by a civilian teacher teaching at a military school in Korea. Very eye opening in explaining how life changed for the students whose parents were deployed to the middle East and the maturing of the teacher whose biggest concern was the soccer championship. He opens up and shows his failings as a teacher and his regrets on how he dealt with his 'children' that were going through the worst time in their lives.
Not the best writing but the story shows what happened to Americans who was isolated from the US during this horrific time.… (meer)
