I had a Dachshund growing up and have a Wire Haired Dachshund that I pet-sit for, aptly named Sweetie. I'm not sure what I expected from this book but I think something with more pictures? I would love to see it in a format more in line with what a first grader could read. A picture per page and a sentence or two. It has such potential but feels undone to me.
