Tanya Evans

Tanya Evans was born 1972. She is a writer and senior lecturer in the department of modern history at Macquarie University. She has worked as a historical consultant for television production companies in Britain and Australia. She is the author of Unfortunate Objects: Lone Mothers in toon meer Eighteenth-Century London (with Pat Thane); Sinners, Scroungers, Saints: Unmarried Motherhood in Modern England (with Pat Thane); and Fractured Families: Life on the Margins in Colonial New South Wales, for which she won the 2016 NSW Community and Regional History Prize.
