Martin Evening is a UK-based photographer and noted expert in photography and digital imaging. In addition to being a bestselling author, Evening is a sought-after speaker and lecturer and is a member of the NAPP Photoshop Hall of Fame. For many years, he has worked with the Adobe Photoshop and toon meer Adobe Photoshop Lightroom engineering teams, consulting on new feature development. Adobe Photoshop CS4 for Photographers: The Ultimate… door Martin Evening
An excellent though large (400 pages) primer on using Adobe Photoshop to transform digital images into visual works of art. This book is an excellent resource for any educator involved in teaching digital photography and/or Photoshop.
Disappointed, it doesn't tell you "how to".: I decided to buy this book based on the very good reviews it had. I must say that I am disappointed. The book might be very good in describing "what can be done with Photoshop" but it hardly tells you "how to do it". The "how to" part tells you only on a very high level what to do. More details is needed to make this book usefull.
Excellent overview of CS2 with many useful tips & suggestions. I found this book a lot more useful than Kirby's book.
