I was given this book in return of a fair and honest review. Snow Wolf is the last of the Highland Shifter Series and I was sad to see it end. Ian is new to being a shifter and has trouble controlling his shifts, while Jenny Billy are hiding out from Johnathan Carr. Jenny's shifts hurt so much that she puts off running with Billy and they part ways not on a good note. Billy is gone for days and Jenny fears her shift, she is the only one to track her mate and after much soul searching, she knows that he is in trouble. I was given book 2 of the Highland Shifter Romance series, and although the book started out slow, I quickly remembered and fell into rapidly reading. Last Alpha: A Highland shifter romance

Murder, mystery, sexy romance and love. It started a bit slow for me but once it picked up this story kept me on the edge of my seat. There were twists and turns, it was just full of surprises. I loved the characters in this story. There are a lot of Scottish terms that I didn't know and me being me, I just had to go look them up. My one suggestion for this story would be a glossary. It would be very helpful and easier reading. Other then that, I loved this story. I would highly recommend it.

Jenny Layne hated her abusive dad for beating her mom, leaving them and that she wouldn't fight back. How could he hurt someone he claimed to love? When she was older she left her mom to fend for herself, went to Boston to pursue an investigation journalist career as she made her career to investigate werewolves. At a trail, one of her old classmates believed he was a werewolf and killed a woman. He was pudgy an shy as a kid and she didn't believe him for a minute! Werewolves were stuff of madness that Hollywood played up! One day, she got an email that lured her to Aberdeen Scotland with a hint of shapeshiters from an unknown source that lead her smack dab in the middle of a remote scottish estate. As things reve up, weirdness increases, then a woman is killed by a large dog or was it?

Billy Stewart travelled around the world researching people admitting to being a werewolf. He was financed by the billionaire Johnathan Carr who did extensive work into restoring animals to their natural habit and were long time friends. He went to America to check out the trial of a man who claimed to her a werewolf. Unfortunately, that was not proved, but he did meet Jenny Layne and was smittened with her. Could she be the answer to his lonely life?… (meer)
