I am glad I read Tye’s Undoing before starting the the first book of the series as this is the prequel. It is a quick read and I felt I got to know Tye and Margaret. When Tye met Margaret, a student of his, he realises that Harbingers and not all mythical they are actually real. Her hallucinations are not just hallucinations but visions. Tye and Margaret work well together, there is great chemistry there.

I like paranormal and romance so this was perfect for me.

I am used to reading prequels well after reading a series so I am glad I got to read this before starting the series because I really liked it, the cliffhanger at the end has made me want to read book one now.

I just finished this book and it was great. This was the first book by Jennifer Field I had read, but I guarantee there will be more in my future. I loved Jenna. She was such a badass. I'm not really sure how I felt about them ending up with other people when the story seemed like it was "their" story most of the way through. On the other hand, it was good to see a male hero who would help a female character without being sexually driven. I enjoyed seeing Jenna evolve from a scared young woman to a young woman ready to take on the world. I look forward to seeing what is in store with this series.… (meer)

I received this ARC to give an honest review.

I am not a usually a big fan of paranormal stories, but I enjoyed this one. The story line was very confusing in the beginning but once it was made clear it was intriguing. There were some good erotic scenes without them being the main theme in the story.

I liked the twists and turns of this story. The characters and creatures were very different from what I have read in other stories. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one in the series… (meer)
