The Ultimate Price

Love and loyalty manifested into hate and disloyalty when Ameen learned that his brother Khadafi violated the trust and bond they shared. Sentenced to death, Ameen watched as Khadafi's blood flowed. Regrettably, for Ameen and the streets of D.C., Khadafi lived and is causing more havoc than he once was now that he's realigned himself with his childhood friends Tyrone `TJ' Carter and Lafayette `LaLa' Dotson.

If you thought the streets of D.C. were bloody and dangerous before, things just hit infinity as Khadafi is set on settling scores. While busy raising the body count in the nation's capital, Khadafi is unaware that he's once again on the top of someone's hit list.

Anthony Fields' "The Ultimate Sacrifice II" is a vicious and bloody tale. I liked the story, but for this reader, it totally missed the mark made by its predecessor. New characters introduced new feuds but it doesn't relate to the story that readers returned for. There are many, many issues with editing and content. It's confusing reading a book with multiple points of view, especially characters who don`t add anything to the story. It is my hope that WCP spends more of their time fixing these issues before going to print with book three.

Even with that said, I cannot wait to see what D.C. will have to deal with next. Looking forward to learning Khadafi, Ameen and Lil Cee's fate.
