In this Pride and Prejudicie variation how quickly can Bingley and Darcy engage themselves to the two oldest Bennet sisters. It would seem very quickly. And what of Collins. A quickly read without the angst.
Although Darcy practices deception in canon this story's deception I didn't understand. After the wedding of Jane and Bingley, Elizabeth is visiting Rosings, and Darcy is there with his sister and mother. He decides to offer for Anne but on the wedding day, she would be replaced by Elizabeth - a deception. If Darcy accepts the package that is Elizabeth why not just marry her.

I finished the book so it deserves the two stars
In this modern variation I just didn't care for Lizzy at all. No Charles Bingley as he is on holiday with Shar Lucas, and Caroline is just neurotic. And the wonderful Colonel is with of all people Jane. Though I did read it to the end, but it does contain one of my pet peeves - grown women calling their Father - Daddy.
