Mike Gaddis

If you enjoy sitting besides a warm fire reading a tome of hunting ruffed grouse in the uplands whilst sipping a single malt, this isn't a book for you. The first few chapters are engaging enough, but the book quickly turns into a depressing story of a lonely old man with a great dog and gun who dies by suicide by mountain (an obvious heart attack). The last half of the book is the saga of the poor dog being mistreated...blah blah blah. One star for Ben's encounter with a couple of younger woman.… (meer)
