All the good work that can be accomplished by grandmothers. Wow! In India, the Barefoot University began by teaching men about solar power. The men moved to the cities to get employments. So the BU began teaching older women, who stayed in their communities and built and maintained systems to benefit everyone. Also training the next generation.
The international Council of Thirteen Grandmothers gathers to pray for the world.

I am humbled by their work.

Not as visually stunning or definitive of micro-credit as I had thought it might be. Disappointingly, most of the crafts were made for foreign trinket consumption, not for everyday community use. Gives some family and economics background and a page each of the next generation's prospects.
