I have a thing for these space romances. I can't help it, I grew up on Star Trek (the original series, albeit in its early 70s reruns) and I eat this stuff up. That being said, I liked this book less than I could have because Volkar was kind of a jerk. Kind of, fully, a jerk. The kind of jerk who thinks of someone as "his woman" but hasn't said one kind word to that woman.

I wish we had seen more of Volkar as the captain with his crew, because the few moments we saw them together humanized him. And his crew was great!

On the whole, it wasn't a bad book, just a bad romantic interest for Carly.

This was a pretty quick read, but have to say it was mostly just an okay read. I think perhaps being so short, we do not ever really get much of a sense of the main characters and their backgrounds.

Despite that, I would be willing to read more by this author, but perhaps a little longer next time.

Ps. Just noticed it is part of a series, this book may make more sense read in conjunction with the rest of the series.

The second book in the erotic science fiction romance series Legends of the Seven Galaxies is a action packed and thrilling read.

Returning home to her terminally ill sister is Carly’s only focus, so when she learns a Darkon traitor possesses the gateway maps that to Earth, she sets out to track him down, but capturing the charming star pirate turns out to be trickier than she thought. Determined to prove his innocence, Vokar will overcome anyone who gets in his way. But his captor has some skills he could use, so he makes a deal, the maps for her help. As their partnership turns into more that they expected, dark secrets are revealed that could cost them their lives.

This steady to fast paced plot keeps the reader on their toes with intrigue, action, romance and lots of sizzling passion. The strong compelling characters capture the reader’s attention and keep it to the very end. The author brings the future and travel through outer space to life with vivid images and great detail. And the action is so vivid that it gets the reader’s adrenalin pumping and making it feel as if they are part of story. I should also note that the author manages to invoke the readers tears as well as smiles and laughter during the unfolding of this adventure.

The chemistry between Carly and Vokar explodes from the pages and the frequent sex scenes are hot and steamy. The relationship is fraught with emotional drama with the two fighting their attraction for their own personal reasons. Carly is kind of sensitive with hidden depths and Volkar is this misunderstood Alpha male and when they are together things heat up considerably as they clash and the sparks fly.

The author has created a riveting futuristic action romance that captures the imagination and takes readers on a journey through the galaxy. I was totally caught up in the story from the very beginning and couldn’t put it down. The series has an intriguing plot and wonderful characters and I can’t wait to read the next thrilling adventure.

A novella in the Legends of the Seven Galaxies series is an intriguing, fast and entertaining read.

Fran left her ordinary safe life to volunteer as to terra form a new earth and now finds herself awakening two warriors desire in order to escape imprisonment and torture.

Set in a fascinating futuristic world, this erotic tale takes the reader on action packed adventure. The author brings this fast paced short story to life with vivid imagery and compelling characters. The intriguing plot is an enjoyable quick read with scorching hot sex scenes that singe the reader.

I have not read the first one and although I found this one a little too short, I think this world has a promising future.
