This is a colorful book of various fashion looks, shot in the homes (and closets) of fashion-forward individuals & fashionistas. Refreshingly, most of the subjects featured in this book are NOT rich & famous, which just goes to show that you don't necessarily need to be -- or have -- your own stylist to look fashionbable, original and attractive!

However, StyleLikeU features a disproportionate number of eclectic, trashy chic, and vintage style enthusiasts (people who look like they shop mostly at thrift stores), while not giving enough examples of classic, minimal, office, or "high fashion" dressers. It would also be useful to see more fashionable, straight men.

But all in all, StyleLikeU is definitely both entertaining and inspiring, and has already increased both my fashion sense and desire to play with my clothes!… (meer)
