An excellent (very) short introduction to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by a senior editor of the french monthly Le Monde Diplomatique. In two hundred pages he covers the most important milestones of this century old conflict, and still has some time to comment on the echos this strugle has had in France's intellectual community, in what it is, for me, one of the most interesting parts of the book.
