- Korte biografie
- Lady Jane Grey was a descendant of the House of Tudor, a grand-niece of King Henry VIII. She reigned as uncrowned queen of England for a mere nine days in July 1553 (hence her frequent nickname, "The Nine Days Queen"). She was used as a pawn by her parents and their political allies to seize power and -- unsuccessfully -- prevent the throne from passing to Mary I. She was only 16 or 17 at the time of her execution.
