Folded leaves are superimposed one on the other to create a three-dimensional effect; there are five pictures in all. The title and imprint come from the cover. It is one of three books in a set called “Little Peepshow Books,â€? consisting of Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, and Thumbelina. Each page becomes a three-dimensional panel. The five fold-out scenes can be put together to make a circular display when covers are folded back-to-back and tied with a green ribbon.
