This was a 5 star favorite in the beginning....couldn't put it down. I thought Hadley would come around sooner to understand how much Elijah cared for her. When she was hateful to him over her own mixed up feelings I began to lose interest. I was hoping she would love him and accept him then let him help her with her idiot ex Scott. She actually treated Scott nicer than Elijah at times. I actually had moments of wishing Elijah would walk away. Elijah was the yummy, keeper in this book. Such a sweet, amazing book omg.
This book made me cry. I need to find me someone like Noah! *sighs*
This is a beautifully written, and so, so emotional. One that is of a love that never dies and pulls a boy out of a dark life, a love that gives a boy hope and has him strive to prove himself. A love that endured absences and heartache but came out stronger in the end.

Single parent trope just may be the best trope in romance. Who would’ve thought it? Not me, but this book is proof of it.

Cute story that gives hope to all the single mothers out there. I liked the actual details and appreciation that Elijah had for Hadley when she was pregnant and after. It was interesting to watch him grow with his understanding of women. He had several swoony moments.
