I personally worked with Scott Hall while he was writing this book and I can honestly say that it is a very readable, very real representation of the sexual abuse and hardships subjected to the men and women that were forced to enter residential schools by the Roman Catholic Church and the government. Scott has a way of speaking the bold, ugly truth and yet you do not want to put the book down. Please do not misunderstand me when I say that this book is a hard read. It is about real people and terrible things, but it is worth the effort. Thank you Scott, for writing about what others would not. I have the utmost respect for you and your book.
