BEYOND DEATH was a great short story that I highly enjoyed! Set in Lafayette, Louisiana, detective Matthew Shane is on the hunt for a serial killer and must piece together clues left at the scenes of the past victims to try to predict where the killer will strike next. I enjoyed the Louisiana setting especially and how this story drew Voodoo, magic and other local color into the storytelling. Great for a quick 30-minute read! 5/5 stars.
