This was a good first novel attempt. It actually is a good story line with interesting characters that travel back and forth in time. There are elements of love, magic and fantasy. I would have liked the parts about the 1900’s to be a tad more descriptive. It didn’t always feel like a different time period. The past and the present periods both could have been elaborated on more and possibly a more seamless passage back and forth of the characters between time. I like the idea of time traveling back and forth and changing history, but it was not very realistic in it’s transitions. I give this one a 3 out of 5.… (meer)
