I looooved this book. I never wanted it to end, and when it did I could feel myself sinking into a book hangover.

This book is the sapphic cute story romance that I never knew I needed. Read it for all the warmest feelings. I’m in love with both Kris and Vaughn. How I’m getting out of this with 2 new crushes on fictional characters, is wonderful for me

The plot makes 0 sense but that's not the point. The leads had chemistry and there was one scene that struck me (when D'Vaughn's mother silently rejects her and D'Vaughn crumbles) but otherwise meh. Book Club pointed out this author usually writes het and felt that it showed.

felt like the H/h didn't spend enough time together

This was extremely adorable. It's an novella, so the trope of the day is instant connection, which means instant gratification on cuteness, which was exactly what I wanted right now. I haven't read the rest of the series, since they are M/F and I wanted to skip right to the F/F, but it was easy to get into, and Xeno and Trisha are adorable together. Definitely pick this up if you want some cute short romance.
