I really loved this book. I love good friends to more romance. I enjoyed this book a bit more then her first book the elements worked a bit better! I also loved setting of the dating show!! I also really enjoyed that we got both main characers POV. It was such a quick read and i really loved this characters and it wa unique take on a romance!

I really did loved this book. It was a nice balance between a fun sumemr contempory with a summer vibes, baking/cooking and a compeition. This book also did deal with the dark side of fame and internert culture. I also thought this book was not balance with hate to love and friends to more. It was a fun read and i loved ben as main character. I would have loved to be in his head as well as resse. I loved the food network setting and just wish we saw more of resse family life. This book was a nice balance between YA and almost to college!! It was a fun read and I would def read more books by this author in the future.

A very cute friends to lovers rom-com

Can a book be described as crisp? That's one word that came to mind while reading this one. Smart and funny also came to mind. The plot isn't unique, but consider fried chicken. How many ways can it be prepared and enjoyed? You get the idea. Reese and Benny are very likable people. In fact, Benny is in the running for nicest guy in a YA story for 2022. He 'gets' her, particularly in terms of how her issues with misogynistic males affect her thinking and self-esteem. The banter between them is great, as are the way her two best friends support her, even while far away. This was a true joy to read.
